About Carly

Carly Coursey is a grad student (SJSU MLIS ’27) and Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and also a Library Assistant 4 & Bindery Coordinator at UC San Diego’s Geisel Library. Carly has a BA in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. Published in Palomar College’s Bravura Literary Journal in 2021 for both poetry and prose, she is currently a content editor on SJSU’s Student Research Journal. A queer, neurodivergent parent and unapologetic cat person, you can find them somewhere in the shade in San Diego, California, often with family and their unruly pets.
